- The original concrete balconies were weathered, exhibiting areas of deterioration and the steel railings were a maintenance issue and not conforming to the current Building Code requirements.
- By repairing the concrete, applying a waterproofing membrane to the top of the balconies and finishing the underside of the balconies with an architectural coating the service life of the concrete is greatly increased.
- The installation of new powder coated aluminium glass railings provides a refreshed, modern look and satisfies all current Building Code issues.
- All other concrete elements of the building were repaired and finished with an architectural coating to complete the restoration.
